How to view AP hotel rates when AP hasn't been activated yet

Have an e-ticket barcode for my AP, but haven't activated it at the park yet. How do you register it with the website to view the AP offers as it keeps kicking the barcode back as not being valid?

You need the barcode on the back of the actual AP, not the voucher. You can call the hotel reservation number to book an AP rate and they will have the rates.

This 100%. You can book at the AP rate before the AP is activated. I see several posts here where folks ask for the AP rate for specific dates.
