How to view all available rooms in DCL site?

I have decided to book on the DCL site tomorrow morning and then transfer my reservation to Costco to avoid the long hold time. When booking on Costco, you can see all of the available staterooms, however, when I got on the DCL site for a "trial run," I noticed it only gives you a block of about 8 room options in the area. If the room you want is not one of those highlighted, is there any way to reserve it online without calling in? Thanks!

You can chat with a CM online and ask about specific rooms. It's very annoying you cant just see them all. I don't mind so much having to do that as it saves me calling in later and asking for our own table - they can add that note to my reservation as well while we're at it.

Are you usually able to get someone on chat even on opening day? Are they actually able to make the reservation for you or how do they open up your desired room for you?

yes; I make my reservation fully and then chat with them after and they have switched the room for me. I did not make a booking with this release but I did with the last one with no issues. They can't open it up, but they are able to see everything that is available at that time, not just the handful at a time that we can see online.

Wow! Great tip! Thanks! So just to make sure I have it correct, you choose another room in the category, book it, pay the deposit, enter all your info, then chat and ask them to change your reservation to the desired room?

Yep exactly. If you switch categories they may have you call in, as the deposit may change and may be more, so definitely get one in the same category.

I don’t know why they changed things but you use to, could put in a room number to search for. I like the Costco method, too.

Thank you SO much @AquaDame for that tip. I just used it to have a CM look up cabins that weren’t showing. They found them and transferred my bookings all in 5 minutes! So grateful you shared that info!

I want to thank you as well AquaDame! I used this trick today too after I booked a cruise. Chatted on line and had the CM switch us to the cabin we wanted that was not showing available.
