How to verify memory maker after purchasing Membership Magic Beyond?

When I used to buy Memory Maker for my trips in the past, I could link it to my My Disney Experience and there was no ambiguity about whether or not it was purchased and ready to go before my trip.
Since Membership Magic Beyond includes the Memory Maker benefit, I opted to go that route this year. But, I can't seem to find any way to verify whether or not the benefit is active and ready to go?

Can anyone share their experience with it this year so far?
Is there anything I need to do to make sure it's activated?

I just normally like to cross my "t"s and dot my "i"s and not being able to figure this out is anxiety inducing lol

I believe, and I could be wrong here, but because its valid for a 30 day period during the year, and not the whole year, that it activates when you download your first photo and then would be good for the 30 days following that date. Just like buying MM for a non-annual pass ticket, it doesn’t actually activate until you try and save a photo.

I had your exact same question, but the way it was explained to me by MS is that we all just have it and it is "activated" once you download the first picture, then the 30 days begin.

Like you, I preferred to see something that showed confirmation that we have it, but I guess we just trust it's there and can use the benefit whenever we choose to.

It is actually available to view in MDE .
But you need to find the option to see your Tickets Passes & Memory Maker .
It will say
Memory Maker Purchase with the confirmation number Assigned to …your name
With option to Reassign Memory Maker or view photos.
I haven’t actually clicked on to activate anything yet but it is kinda confusing.
I’m not ready to activate but the appearance looks like it has activated.

looking for answer to same question.
I just bought MMB this weekend but we don't go until May
I got a confirmation email with confirmation number.
I see MMB as active on the DVC website.

How do I activate Memory Maker?
Do I put that confirmation number in the MDE to link Memory Maker?

I think it is considered activated when you actually save a photo from your trip and download it to reprint or share with family …Maybe ?

Ok. Just activated mine. I got a magic shot from a photo pass photographer. When I went to look at it in my MDE account, it asked did I want to activate my memory maker. I said yes and downloaded the pic.

So, I have 2 family/friends trips coming up: One in the beginning of July and one at the end of August (42 days in between trips). Since photos are stored for about 45 days, would I be able to take all the pictures I want during my July trip, wait a month to download and activate Memory Maker, and be able to use it during my August trip as well? If yes, MMB may be worth it for me this year...
