How to use the countdown to next vacation?

Hi everyone,

I feel a little silly but I just cannot figure out how to activate a
countdown in days months hours seconds, for our upcoming October trip. I love looking at everyone's posts and it is so exciting when someone only has 5 days left....
anyways I would love any help anyone could offer.
