How to use the AAA Diamond Pass

Hey all,
We just got our AAA Diamond Parking pass from our local AAA Office. I was just wondering how you go by parking in these spaces. Do you show the pass to the front gate when you pay//show parking voucher from hotel, and then you are directed where to go? Or do you follow signs to the lot and then have to show it to someone standing in the lot? And do you have to leave the voucher on your dashboard?

The diamond lot is marked. You follow the signs to it. You do not need to show it at the toll booth. You pay to park at the toll booth (unless you are staying at a Disney resort) and then follow the signs. The diamond lot is within walking distance to the main entrance of the parks except at Magic, there it is walking distance to the TTC.

I don't know if you need to display it once in the lot, from the cars I have seen there it's 50-50 display/not displayed.

they have dividing lines on the road of different colors....blue is handicap and green is for Diamond Parking if memory serves correctly...you just follow those lines.....unless it has changed

We're AAA members, but didn't realize you have to book through AAA to get the pass. I called our local office to inquire and they told me no

I went into my local AAA office and inquired if they had an extra one laying around. The woman asked me if I was even a AAA member so I said yes, and showed her my card. She just took one out of her desk and gave it to me. It doesn't hurt to try going there and just ask for one.
