How to use MyPoints web certificates?

I've got enough points to redeem them for 4 $25 web certificates. How do I apply these to my room reservations? Have not yet made my ressies, was waiting until I had the points to redeem.

I've been a MyPoints member for a few years, and when I got my first Web Certificate, I ordered one of their Web Certificate Mastercards. It works like a debit card, and is accepted wherever Mastercard is accepted. That way, you can use it just about anywhere, not just online. You can keep track of your balance through the Web Certificate website. I think they charge a small one-time fee for the card, maybe $3 ot $5. I can't really recall. My card expires in September. I'll probably order a new one when it expires. Webcertificate also charges a dormancy fee on your balance if you don't use it after about 6 months.

If your card expires and still has funds I believe they automatically send you a new card without a fee. I believe that's what happened with mine - I know I got a new one and didn't get charged anything.

Does anyone know how to get Disney Dollars?

IIRC, I traded the points for the web certificate. Then used the web certificate to pay for a Disney Store gift card which I ordered online, then took the Disney Store gift card to an actual Disney Store and traded that for Disney Dollars.

They definately don't make it easy, but I got $150 DD so for me it was worth it

our hotel ressies. all I did was have have MC # from the web certificates account page and the expiriation date

I called and told them I wanted to put more down on our room

and just gave her the info she asked for.

it was very easy and saved me the fee for the plastic card!!!!

I also figured out a way to get $DD without the card although sometimes it takes a little effort.

all you need to do is printout your webcerificate page showing the account # and amount and ask the CM to run your card manually.

sometimes the CM inisits on having the card others are interested in how these rewards work. if the CM would rather have the plastic card Ill just try another time with another CM.
