We are purchasing annual passes and I was wondering how does the annual pass work when you are entering the park? How does Disney know that the ticket is yours?

When you activate the pass they make you do a finger scan. It is typically the index and middle finger. When you enter the park you put the ticket in and also do a finger scan. If the scan doesn't work they will let you in, but tell you to go guest relations to get a new ticket. They also asked to see my id when my scan didn't work. It is all about the cm working that day if you need id.
