How to upload photo?

I need help uploading a photo in a new thread. I see the button, but it wants a URL image link. I only know how to do it by browsing for a photo like in my avatar. I would really like to share some photos of the "Magic" that we received by celebrating DD's birthday. Thanks for any help!

You need to upload your pictures to a site like www.photobucket.com. Once they are uploaded from your computer to the site, you can start posting photos here on the boards. Under your pictures (on the photobucket site), there will be three links. You need to choose the one that says something like "discussion boards". I think it's the third/bottom link. Copy that and then come over to the boards and paste your picture to the thread you want to post it on. Then click Submit Reply and your picture should be posted. Hope I made that easy enough.

I'm also looking to post some pics...but can't find any guidelines on how large the image can be.

When I posted mine to photobucket.com and used the discussion board link, it resized my photos for me.

Yes, that's the best way. Photobucket is really helpful.

You're quite welcome. Believe me, photobucket is the way to go. I am soooo computer illiterate and even I could figure out how to use photobucket.
