How to upgrade free dining to deluxe?

Yay! Free Dining is back. It offers the regular plan and I need to upgrade, how do I do that on line? It tries to bill the full amount not the price difference in the upgrade. I already have 2 sit down meals per day scheduled and want to keep my reservations.

Your dining reservations are separate from your package so even if you change your package, the dining reservations are still secure. I don't know how to do it online but I've called and upgraded very easily with no problem.

Can't be done online. It will let you book the free dining package according to the offer's parameters, but if you want to make changes to your package, you need to call. Changes to your resort reservation will not affect any dining reservations you have already made in any way.

When I booked last year, I chose the free dining under special offers and they changed the dining plan to a higher plan. It should calculate the difference....at least it used to.

I had no problem doing it online.
Just book the reservation through the "special offers" page. Then click to change the dining plan -- change it to deluxe. You should only be charged the price difference.

As PP suggested, click on special offers then price your vacation. Then click on dining options and choose dining package, it will show the upgraded dining price.

Can you do that after you have already booked the package? I think once you have the package booked, you have to call to change it.

Which free dining? Value (quick service) or moderate/deluxe resort (regular)? Peak or non-peak pricing? 2011 or 2012?
