How to transfer points?

I have 20 points left on my 2007 August UY (banked to 2008) but need a total of 44 for my ressie. A friend of mine has some extra points for 2007 (August UY) that he can't use and is willing to transfer to me.

The points he wants to transfer to me were banked from 2007 to 2008. Can he still transfer them?

How do we transfer the points?

Sorry, can't transfer banked points.

Maybe your friend could use the points he has to book a room in your name? Since both of you are using banked points, neither of you can transfer to the other.
