How to Tip with Dining Plan

I have the regular dining plan. I know I still have to pay tips. How does that work if I want to use a card instead of cash? Do I use my magicband?

You will get a bill showing what the cash price would have been had you not been on the dining plan. The server will ask if you want to use the dining plan and if so, he will scan your magic band and you will enter a PIN for security purposes. You can most definitely pay the tip using cash or credit card. I'm almost positive you can use the magic band as well and charge it to the room -- but I don't think I ever did it that way.

You can pay the tip however you like (magicband, credit card, gift card, cash, etc.).
