Ok, so we were originally going to go to Gatlinburg for spring break. I talked DH into going to WDW instead, BUT DS9 still thinks we are going to TN. We were originally going to drive, but purchased cheap SWA tickets. So now he thinks we are flying to TN.

My plan is to tell him about Disney at the airport before we leave. I think he might catch on if I don't tell him before we board (prob. when we check in and the person at the counter says Orlando, we will be done with the surpirse).

SOOO, how should I break the news to him at the airport? I bought some disney dollars today for him and would like to incorporate it into big surprise!!

Any suggestions??

Well you could make him up alittle gift bag to give him at the airport or on the way there. It could be a Disney bag wtih the Disney Dollars, maybe a Disney T-shirt and a few other little things from the Disney Store. I'm sure he'll catch on....

Good Luck I'm sure he'll be so surprised however you plan to tell him.

Why not give him clues to solve? Each time he solves one of the clues, either give him a letter 'M' or something beginning ith the letter 'M'. Next clue, when he solves it, give hima letter 'I' or something beginning with 'I'. Then 'C', 'K' and so on until you spell it out MICKEY MOUSE.

Perhaps an invitation from Mickey including the Disney Dollars for you all to go to WDW instead of TN. Something like DS is invited to share the magic with us on his spring break in WDW. However you decide have a great trip, I was just surprised with my first ever trip to WDW at the age of 25 and beleive me the surprise of it added to the magic. Happy traveling... pixiedust:

The ideas above are good... you could incorporate those into having a treasure hunt maybe the morning of your trip (if you don't have to get up too early) or the night before (of course, you then risk him being so excited that he can't sleep!! :teeth: )

You could leave a clue for him to figure out where to go to get the next clue -- through the house -- out to the mailbox -- in the freezer -- and then the finally clue leads him to either an envelope hidden somewhere or a box with the invitation from Mickey to come and visit with some Disney dollars.

We did a little treasure hunt for DD one year for her birthday and she loved it... she ended up "finding" in her room some new furniture for her birthday! :cheer2:

Have a great trip!
