He is so wonderful to us all the time, and I want to give him a surprise he will remember. He loves WDW and thanks to his bonuses and tax return because of his income, we get to go again. I just want to do something nice for him. Any ideas. Money is tight, but give me what you have and I will see if I can make it work! Thanks! I also posted on Comm board, but need as much advice as I can get!

Are you looking for an idea that is for the entire family (if you have kids) or just you two or just him? I was thinking how about a massage over at the GF spa? Or maybe a special round of golf? Or perhaps one of the Disney tours (Segway tour over at Epcot)? Just some ideas, but I know that they are all very pricey. I'll try to think of something on a budget!.............P

I didn't know what to get the hubby for Christmas so.... I orded a brick to be placed at Shades of Green. It says our family name and his favorite bible verse. $75.00 We plan on checking it out on our next Disney trip. Something that will be remembered for awhile. :-)

Hope that helps!

1/2 an hour - 45 minutes on a water mouse would be fun and not horribly expensive. We rented them from the marina at GF, and that gives you a chance to zip around in front of the MK.

These are all great ideas! I was thinking about the Segway tour, but we will have the kids with us, so he would have to do it alone, which he may feel funny about. Unfortunately he is not a golfer.

How about Cirque du Solei? This would not be a budget surprise, as it is quite expensive, but it is an experience to remember. Also, since you will have your kids with you, this is a great experience for them as well.

The Richard Petty Driving Experience sent me a postcard offering the Ride-Along Experience for $49 (half price). I think the offer was only good through the end of the year but maybe if you called you could still get it. The whole family could go to the track with him and you can take pictures. Here's their website: http://www.1800bepetty.com/index.html#speed

Through the Dis, I was able to get us on the WIshes Cruise/boat - DH was not only surprised, but loved this experience!! (as did DD!) It turned out costing us $10 each plus tip

How about a carriage ride? I am surprising my family with one at Fort Wilderness in January after we go to the Hoop Dee Doo. I am told that the rides are 30-45 minutes long and if you time it right you can see wishes. The cost is rather inexpensive at just $30 but they only accept cash or room charge. Let us know what you decide. :D

I also purchased the Richard Petty ride along for 49.00. I was told you may
purchase as many as you like at the special price that they never expire. But they only availble at that price until the end of the year. Thanks for the idea on the carriage ride for the family I never would have thought of that. Does anyone know how long those are availble?
:cool1:

I just love this board. I have always wanted to send my husband on this ride-a-long, so I just ordered one since it is on sale. I will try and get him to do it when we are at WDW world, but if not, there is always Bristol. Thanks again for the great information!!

They have it here in Kansas City! I may get that for him for Christmas if I can get that price! He would be upset at taking four hours of our three day stay. I gotta call them and see if it is possible!

That is a good idea, the behind the scenes, but we won't be there very long and I think those tours take 4-5 hours! I love that idea though!
