how to surprise a pre schooler

We are flying to WDW in a few weeks and we want to surprise our 4.5 y/o. We don't want to tell him until the morning of our flight. He can not read yet. I need suggestions how to surprise him and get him super excited. All suggestions are welcome! Thanks in advance

Perhaps you can buy him a stuffed Mickey Mouse (or his favorite disney character) at Walmart and wrap it. Allow him to open it on the plane (or whenever you want to reveal the surprise to him).

I don't know if this works I have it on Pinterest : Get a call from a Disney Princess! | Text "princess" to 33992. You can choose between, Merida, Cinderella, and Rapunzel. Let me know if it works.
You could also get him Mickey ears from a party store, or a new Disney movie that he can watch on the plane (or episode of Jake/Cars on ipad) I also like getting them a new Mickey/Disney theme shirt (Wal-Mart/Kohl's/Target have tons) that they can put on in the am gets them in the mood and ready to paly! And don't for get the Mickey snacks most grocery stores sell fruit snack that are shaped in Disney characters (car, mickey, princess).

Have Peter Pan leave him a note with some pixie dust, sneak it into the room so he can wake up to it. Or make him a map with your house on it and disney world with either a plane or car route on it (depending on how you're traveling). Or order one of those mickey hats with the built-in ears and give it to him with a marker, tell him he can use it to get autographs from his favorite characters because he's going to Disney World.

Maybe a treasure map around your house with different clues at each stop - sunglasses/sunscreen, toy plane, stuffed character...and ending at the packed suitcases.
