How to stop Disney spam

The amount of spam I am receiving from Disney is staggering. They put AARP to shame. I have never opted in for anything and yet I keep getting email telling me I did opt in and if I want to unsubscribe just follow the link, which I always do. But the link is only for the particular division that sent the email. And Disney must have at least 100 divisions. Why do they not understand that sending spam to people who don't want it is counterproductive?

The ones that I really hate the most are the photos. My photos are always ready to expire and I had better hurry before they are gone. I have never bought a photo from them in my life and I never will. I am a photographer and I have no need for their photos. I wish I could figure out how to stop them but there is no opt out option for the photos. The ride photos are linked to my magic band with FP+. I am seriously considering never using FP+ again.

If you don't want ride photos but want fast passes then remove your magic band.

Either get a faraday cage bag that you can put your magicband in so the scanners can't read your band while your riding, that way no ride photos

Or

Don't go to the parks with a magicband, get a hard ticket , you can still use FP+ by scanning your ticket and the ride photos won't be able to scan you ticket because the RFID Chip in the ticket is passive.

Thanks for that info. I do have a hard ticket so I will use that instead.

All sorts of links to update things in the link above.

I assume, however, you haven't yet figured out how to take a ride photo. :) So despite your profession, you could still easily want something of theirs, since you don't have control over their ride cameras. :) Their hope springs eternal!

Thanks for the link. I never could find that one on my own. I have opted out of everything so I will see how successful that will be.

I don't want photos of myself on the rides. And I definitely don't want to pay their outrageous prices for a photo of myself.

We were at WDW Dec. 1-7 2014. I've had two of the emails about my pictures from the rides expiring. How many did you get?
