How to Spot a Nerd.

Bouncing off another of my threads. How do you spot a nerd? What tells you "Thats a Nerd!"

Usually if the person is wearing a Star something, disney or Comic shirt I think Nerd.

Well, I think that's a pretty good start on a definition, and I suppose the fact that I was wearing my "super trekkie" t-shirt yesterday while carrying my Walt Disney World bag slung over my shoulder would make me qualify! Although, I prefer the term geek, if you don't mind! : )

My husband is a major nerd but there's nothing about his appearance that would give him away. He's an IT guy, Star Trek fan, band geek who plays the saxaphone, etc etc. But he appears normal, and without any of my help, thank God! LOL!

OH I love nerds! they are super sexy! lol my dh always picks on me about it...he is not really a nerd, smart but NOT a nerd...BUT i love nerds, if i would not have met my dh I would have been married to one....

Just wondering... is this something that normal adults think about? Nerds? Seriously? I don't think I've called someone a nerd since junior high... maybe high school. And wouldn't you know, those nerds are some of the coolest, smartest people around. I married one.

Oh, and if wearing Disney clothing qualifies you.. then I'm guessing the vast majority of this board are nerds.

I didn't see any nerd bashing. I thought the thread was cute. Even volunteered my husband as a nerd. I certainly wouldn't bash my husband.
