We are planning a trip for 7 nights and want to split our stay btw AKL and YC, does anyone have any suggestions on how to best do this so that we don't get doubledipped on the park admission and/or not pay a ton of extra $? Thanks!

I'm afraid I don't have any suggestions to save money. Just to suggest that you stay at YC first, and definitely save AKL for second. I split a stay with AKL last year and found that AKL can be so restful, and Disney nut that I am, even I had no desire to go to the parks while I was there. Just sat on the porch and watched the animals.

Welcome to the Dis!

I would suggest buying hoppers or AP's to keep from having to worry. If you are staying 7 days and have hopes to go back again in a year an AP would be your best bet. Have fun!

goofobia,

On our next trip, DW and I are planning on splitting resorts. We are going to spend two days at AKL and five days at the Polynesian. As far as tickets, we are going to get PAP's, so we can return in June '05 for our 10th anniversary. I'll book "room only" at both resorts later this year.

Hi goofobia Welcome to the DIS. I'm so glad you found us and I hope you can visit often.

I'm going to move this over to our Resorts board for you. I'm sure the experts over there will have some great advice for you.
