How to shuttle from Value Resort to VWL

Coming in on a Friday late afternoon and staying Value resort. Next day we are checking in early to VWL. Does Disney shuttle you and your lugggage over. Do you take the busses? I know that you can't take a bus directly to another resort.

You can have your luggage transferred over but you would need to take a bus to a park and then to VWL. I would think the bus to MK and then take the boat over to VWL. You could spend some time at the park before heading over, or go over first check in and then head to where ever. Your luggage will make it but they do not tell you what time. I had luggage taken from POP to BWV last May and it was there before me but they said that is not always they way it happens.
