Alright, I want a dog so badly its not even funny and I asked my mom and she said " I can promise you that we will think about it" She said that I will have to show her responsibility. So that's where it leaves me: How ON earth can I prove to them that I am resposible?

See if your neighbors have dogs, maybe take care of them for a week with the owner's permission and see if you can handle it. That being said, that's not nearly all the responsibility that comes with an animal, but it'll certainly give you an idea..And if you do a good job, maybe your parents will allow you to get one of your own. You also need to factor in what kind of dog you want...a chihuahua, who can go to the bathroom inside and doesn't need to be walked, or a golden retriever, who will need to be walked daily, taken outside to use the bathroom, etc. Good luck with persuading your parents. :)

Thanks, I want a dog because I need someone who won't yell at me and will like me for who I am and who won't hurt me... and most of all so I can love it...

They really are great companions, however they can be a pain in the butt. Especially when they make you mad and then come cuddling up to you...You just can't win with them. I've got a 6 year old chihuahua, and she's SUCH a handful.

Sorry but i like big dogs like labradors and german shepards I think that looks like a overgrown rat sorry but thats my opinion

i suggest you get a small dog simply because your parents will probably like that better. my parents refuse to ever get a big dog because they shed and stuff like that.
i have a papillon/shih-tzu and he doesn't shed whatsoever. when a dog sheds you need to brush him on a daily basis and you'll probably end up vacuuming a lot more than you really wanted to. another thing you might want to consider is that if you get a pure bred they can cost up to 700$ and more. but if you get a mixed breed you won't be able to take them with you across the border, or on a plane. and then you also have to consider who's going to look after the dog while you're on vacation if you don't take them. kennels are expensive (my dogs cost up to 500$) and you might not have anyone who wants to take care of them.
i never really proved to my parents i was responsible. i just always wanted a dog. i was watching 101 Dalmations since the day i was pretty much born and fell in love with it. since i could speak to the day i was 11 i begged for a dog. and my parents finally gave in and got me one.
ways to prove it?
like she said, look after other dogs.
the biggest thing i ever did was, when i was bored i would say:
"Mom, if i had a dog i would always have someone to do something with and you wouldn't have to listen to me complain ever again that i'm bored."

The best way I can think of, is don't do anything wrong, turn in your homework, don't get in trouble, and eventually they will think your responsible.

You could go with the obvious idea I told you last night: Pay your brother to tell your parents that you're responsible. :)
