How to save $195 on your wdw trip

Yup. Was considering an AP too for the trip in Sept. More analysis on that. Haven't booked but was considering soon to get ADRs.

Now have to figure out how to have my friend let me go (err how to ask to say I'm going) to MNSSHP when we go in Oct when she won't want to go that night as we shortened to a weekend trip instead. I guess I should be glad I was considering a weekend trip in Oct.

Yep, flights are booked and we are doing the "magical" deal so we took the latest dates in hopes of hitting one. I got my hopes up with the Labor Day early close. Oh well, I guess it saves me $200

Same here, flights already booked for early September and with things at work I can't reschedule anyway. Nonetheless, I'm going to be naive and stay positive till it's on the site of WDW :P At the moment the park hours for September 1st still show a closure for MK at 7pm. Hopefully additional dates will be released at a later date when the other parties sell out.

Otherwise I'm going to enjoy the money I save, and hope the first weeks of September will be quieter due to people booking based on the parties.

Yes I checked the hours on the wdw website too and am also refusing to believe until I see the hours extended and tickets not on sale. Lol. I have seen several posts of people hanging their dates and am also hoping his helps our crowd level. Basically I like your line of thinking. Here's to hoping we get some major pixiedust:

I pushed our trip back a week. Was bummed I was going to lose our magical poly deal, but ended up renting dvc at poly and it came out to the same price. So sorry to everyone who missed it, I know I was bummed to see those dates as well.

The Christmas party dates are later than last year as well. Last year the first date was the Friday before the Wine and Dine Half-Marathon, and now the first party is the Monday after the race. I'm glad I checked before booking my flights!

I really thought the dates were wrong but come to find out, they are official. Lots of disappointed people today that enjoy MNSSHP during the first 2 weeks of September. I don't go when the halloween festivities go on, but for the xmas parties. There was only a slight change to those with the first party starting on a Sunday and not Friday. Sending pixie dust your way.. pixiedust: Very curious as to why MK closes early those first few days of Sept.

My thoughts (and hopes) are Disney blocked those nights in the first 2 weeks of September for future use. When the other parties sell out quickly, they can sell the first weeks as 'now extra parties' and show how well they are doing. If the other parties don't sell, they wont have to spend lots of money on hosting it or downsizing those nights, which could result in complaints.
