How to request the best room at AKL

Hi,

I would love to know the best way to request a specific savanah view at the AKL. It was also suggested we let the reseort know we are celebrating my sons 6 year birthday. I'm just not sure were to call. We reserved through AAA, and our TA said we needed to do all request through disney. All help would be great!!

Your agent will have to call and have it included in your reservation. There are no guarantees. Keep in mind that many many people are celebrating a special occasion at WDW.

Room requests are preferences at Disney.

But this is a good question; when is the best time to make a request? when booking or directly with the resort prior to check-in or at check-in?

And, I will be checking into AKL for five nights on Oct 18 - savannah view bunk beds. Can anyone suggest best trail to ask for?

The best location is Arusha Savannah on the Zebra trail side if the construction does not affect that side of the lodge. If you look at a map of the resort on allears.net you can see the layout of the resort. Have fun it is a wonderful resort!!
