how to rent a timeshare

DVC members get points and can use them to rent resort categories. Only members can look-up availability and make reservations. You can rent from DVC members directly, take a look at the rent/trade boards on DIS. You can also use a broker like David's that acts as a go-between for members and renters.

Most people make their timeshare reservations early. You can try the rent trade board here on the boards or a service.
