Work for Disney. Here's what Bob Iger did last year.

That's the equivalent of 469696.9696969697 one-day admissions to the Magic Kingdom.

And you know he's got the highest-level executive entry perks, so I have to ask myself -- why does he need all that extra money, when he gets free entry into the parks, and can probably sign for any other expense item in WDW?

Yes, Mr Iger, we know why you're smiling.

That's not a smile - that's an evil grin because he can see there's still a nickel remaining in your left front pocket.

Psychopath poster child….
No empathy, no remorse, no conscious, charming, pathological liar... exits for power and control. You can see this 'grin' on the likes of Tony Blair, Donald Trump.. etc...
Thats the role model for us to aspire to.
Nothing wrong with making money….nothing wrong with profits…Its the degree to which one discounts the human damage being a vampire brings in the long run.

Truer words were never spoken. :rotfl2:
What can someone do with that much money? How much stuff can you have? At least Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are trying to spend theirs on improving the human condition.
Who knows, maybe Bob's doing the same thing?

What does this have to do with Theme Park Attractions and Strategies?

It's all about getting there at the lowest cost. And becoming CEO of Disney is certainly a good strategy to do so.

You are right….close thread

I'm not saying to close it; I'm saying this isn't the right forum for it. This board has multiple sub-forums for specific topics, and to be honest, I'm tired of seeing threads getting started in TPA&S that have nothing to do with TPA&S.

It has everything to do with strategies on gaining theme park admission (and perks!) for FREE!!

I personally found this thread to be very helpful. I now know that the way to the golden ticket is to work my way into the CEO position. I will get started immediately! Perhaps I will start small and apply for a Cast Member position. I will then plot and plunder until I have attained the top position. In honor of all the little people that "helped" me along the way I will leave the back gate open once a year. Everyone else in the know can sneak in for FREE, just like ME!!

Why not start buy buying into one of those beautiful Poly bungalows at $165 a point and committing to vacation there for the next 15 years and paying all the mantainence too… Then in 2032 you will be ahead just in time for the Seven Seas Lagoon to be condemned as unfit to live on.

Hey, it sounds like a workable plan. Iger started out as a weatherman at a local New York state station, and look where he is today! And you sound like a very generous person, thanks for that back gate offer...

Nothing and 46.5M is the going rate for CEOs of 85 billion dollar corporations that just happens to own some theme parks.

Nice work if you can get it.
You need the prerequisites described above.
That leaves me out..plus I'm too old and won't wear ties…especially that one he has on...

So, I'm wondering when they install the nickel-press machines...
