We are all set to go to F&W for our first time in Oct!!!

I am wondering how/when to get the info on the different dinners and events that might have separate admission. I am particularly interested in Eat to the Beat and seem to always be a day late and a dollar short when it comes to registering for things. Is there a packet of info that can be ordered, or will the info be posted on the Disney website closer to the date? Right now only very generic F&W info is on there and last year's events are on allears.

Any help? :confused3

The info was posted on the Disney site late August last year. If you are a DVC member, you should receive a flyer with the info in the mail late August also. Party of the Senses will always be on Saturday nights during the F&W Festival.

The past couple of years they have been opening up for booking in mid to late July and they release the schedules slightly before that. It's important to find out the date for booking if you want to do some of the more popular dinners because they fill up quickly. I think the best way to find out the date that booking opens is to watch these boards.

Good Morning MNChill!

We hit the F&W Fest Last Year. You will see the info here on the DIS before WDW will even think about releasing the info in the mail.

Mid-Late July is the time those events are announced and available for registration.

Watch the Restaurant Board more closely than this board and you will find a thread starting about watching for the info to be released.

We didn't do any of the dinners, but it mostly because the ones we really wanted to do were not over our travel dates and the ones that were available didn't really inspire us to book them.

Eat to the Beat is available to the general public and I don't think needs a separate ressie. Party of the Senses is generally on Sat, as a poster said above. Of course all the booths are open every day. That's all we did and we enjoyed it...even the kids were game about trying new foods, which shocked the heck out of me because DD is usually not into trying new stuff.

I'm sure you're already familiar with Allearsnet, but if not, Deb has a F&W info page which can be found under Special Events in the Theme Parks section of the website. I'd post the url, but I'm still a newbie and not allowed to post links yet.

I found this site useful when planning last year as I was really curious about the different events and booths, etc. :scratchin 2006 F&W info isn't posted yet, but you can look over all the stuff from last year, with pictures too!
