How to post in White Out

woo hoo! white out!

They call me Tater Salad :)

hey! that is pretty neat! thanks mal! i would have NEVER figured that one out LOL

I would suggest don't use quick reply. And I think Mal did not mention this, but you have to highlight (click the mouse and drag) whatever you are whiting out, and then click color. That's if you type the text before you decided to make white. If you dont highlight anything, a box will come up, asking you to type in what you want to be whited out (which I just learned Mal...ty, I did not know that! I always highlight and change color!)

Another way is to put (without the quotes): "COLOR=White" in brackets [] before white part, and "/COLOR" (also no quotes!) in brackets [] at end, just like that.

It looks like this, only I'm using the wrong kind of brackets, otherwise you would not see the format, it would just make the text white but you would not see how I did it! LOL. Check between formatting for what I said by highlighting, and remember use THESE brackets [ ]: {COLOR=White} this part of text would be white, if you use regular brackets[] instead of these {}, okay? {/COLOR}

I included that b/c it's helpful to know how the formatting works, in case you change something and are confused by all the formatting (works the same with size, bold, italics, etc: for size change you would have "SIZE=4" in brackets before text and "/SIZE" afterwards. The slash with the word always ends the formatting, but you just have to use /COLOR or /SIZE, etc...don't put the color name or size number again!

Hope this helped somewhat for a more "advanced" perspective....hope I did not confuse the heck out of everyone, but once I learned how the formatting worked, it was a lot easier to make things look the way I wanted. Just to show there are other ways of doing it....especially if you need to edit text that is already formatted.
