How to pick ADR times based on events

When we used to go to WDW we would wander at will and stop and eat when we got hungry. Getting into restaurants was never a problem.

That was pre-DDP. Those days are over. We need to make ADR's on Tuesday

My questions reading these pages are those that say they got a ressie before or after an event like MVMCP or the parades or the shows so far in advance of our trip.

Where do we find the special events and the times they occur to make these decisions for when to make ADR?

Please share any links to the park schedules, shows, etc.

Woefully out of the loop, but going back anyway, because Mickey and I have a date, lol

Any other advice would also be welcomed.

www.allears.net is a wealth of information and Disney will have a calendar of events on the www.disney.com page 6 months out. This will give parade and firework time, too!

Now I can plan around park hours for which park to go to on which day! You'll laugh at this-- I found the park hours spot so long ago that it was too early and it would not work so I had forgotten about it.

Any suggestions for times for meals to catch shows?
Still trying to figure out when the fireworks and the electical parade are.
