How to pay for one photo?

We have made last minute plans to go to MK for one day only on July 19th. I do not want to buy the Memory Maker as we will have the ability to take our own photos for the most part. However, I would like to have a Photopass photog take a picture of our family with the castle in the background because we have an early ADR and should be in the park without much of a crowd. Is there a way to have them take a photo and give us some sort of ticket that we can take to a Photo Center later in the day to view and perhaps buy just one print? Or, will the Photopass photographers take a photo with our own camera?

Use your own camera. They'll still give you a ticket/scan your band for the photopass end, but nothing beats your own equipment.

They will take a picture with your camera. But if you prefer, they will also give you a Photo Pass card that you can later go to the photo center and have the print made.

I did mine through the photopass website. I did the edit I wanted, put the photo into the cart and paid for it. Then I downloaded the picture to my computer. Quick and easy.

So, they gave you a number so you knew how to access that one photo on the website? How much was just one picture?

Will one of their photogs take one with our camera or do we need to try to find some nice family walking by?

I believe one digital download is $14.95. If you use the photo pass photographers, they give you a card and that gets scanned every time you take a photo, and you just put in the number to access your photos. You can also ask the Photopass photographers to use your own camera to take a photo, they will do it for free.

The photographer actually scanned my magic band to put the pictures on it but they can also give you a card instead. Take a picture with your phone of the back of the card so if you lose it you will still have the number you need to find your pictures.

It was 14.95 for a 4x6 picture. I also asked the photographer to take a picture with my camera but he didn't set it up as nicely and the castle and I were crooked so I was glad I had the photopass picture to choose from.

Any photo CM will take a photo with your phone if you just ask

If you have magic bands, just have the CM scan your band and the photo will be on the photopass site when you log in (this is free, you don't have to have memory maker to access photopass site). Then you can buy any photos individually on there and edit them.

Or you can buy the photo from the camera station at the front of every park. They'll scan your MB or plastic card if you requested one from the cm

Yes, sorry. I should have said card or magic band. (I do know how it works, I've used it before and had memory maker last year.)

We bought a photo separately - taken at MK (Tiana and DD walking down Main Street together - priceless!) at the Epcot photo place (under Spaceship Earth). It was quick and easy - we even added a border. They printed it out for us there and then and put it in a nice folder.
