Anyone have any suggestions on how to pack the fluffy princess dress? :confused3 Its Sleeping Beauty and size 8 so it is quit big. I dont want to damag it, but it really takes a lot of room and leaves glitter on things. I thought of putting it in a zip lock storage bag, but I am afraid it will be all crinkled when we get there. Any ideas or experience? Thanks

I want to know this as well! I plan to put it in a large plastic bag for the glitter factor, but I'm wondering about the crushing factor?

I've always packed my DD princess gowns in a gallon size ziplock bag. I fold it up carefully and press the bag to release the air, then zip it closed. When arriving at the hotel, I remove the dresses and hang up. I've never had problems with wrinkles or loosing sparkles.

HTH! :goodvibes

I put layers of tissue paper on the dress and then fold the dress up with the tissue inside the folded part. I also stuff some tissue in the sleeves. I put it in a zip lock bag and don't flatten the bag out too much.

The tissue really helps to keep the dress from wrinkling.

I packed my daughters princess dresses and my dressy dresses in a garmet bag. They traveled from the plane to bus to hotel back to the bus to the cruise with nary a wrinkle and no damage.

This would be my suggestion as well. You may need one of the oversized ziplocs. The tissue paper does a great job of taking the hit on the wrinkles.

I'm thinking the garment bag will work best for us. Seems obvious, but never crossed my mind.
