Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this but does anyone know if there's any package deals that offer Disney tickets when booking a hotel off site? Assuming when doing this the tickets would be cheaper than if purchased separately. Or has anyone heard of that volunteer day opportunity they offered last year? Volunteer for a day and you're given free Disney tickets. Even listening to timeshare presentations? Thanks for any help!

A friend of mine did this a few years ago. I think they signed up at a mall? Can you google search "timeshare free disney tickets" and see what you get...She told me it took a couple of hours but apparently they picked her up and dropped her back off at her hotel too...

If you are trying to get free Disney tickets by listening to a timeshare presentation, leave your wallet or purse at home and brace yourself for major aggravation!

This. :thumbsup2 The way I see it is my time is money. I would rather wait to go to WDW until I had enough money and spend the 4 hours in the park than getting lamb basted at a time share presentation for discounted tickets.

I did the Give a Day get a day last year but it is not offered this year.

The last couple of times we went down to Disney this is how we got our tickets. Timeshare people tell you 2 hrs and I hold them to the 2 hrs. The last time we went we waited in the lobby for an hour, when the girl came & got us I told her she had one hour to make her salespitch then we were leaving. She did it in an hour.

I always tell them when they're done talking that now isn't a good time for us b/c we still have to get our kids thru school and make those tuition payments. I've never been given a hard time by any of them.

How do we find out about the timeshares and what type of Disney tickets do you obtain once they're done their salespitch?

I'd rather work 2 hrs of overtime and I'm a TS owner; though we did not purchase from these crazy sales people.

Per posts I have seen from Cheshire Figment (ticketing Cast Member), he says timeshare operators often/normally give out special "Touch of Magic" tickets which are not upgradeable in any way. They are not standard Magic Your Way tickets. So keep that in mind when making your decision.

:thumbsup2:BTDT! My DH talked me into it once. It was suppose to be one hour but ended up being 3.

We did one about 10 years back. 2 hours was three. Three sets of sharks to talk to. I think they get rude and poor on the pressure if they feel your not buying. They think you will get mad enough to just walk away, no freebys to give away then.
