Looking for all tips and tricks and knowhow from experienced movers!
DH and I have moved 10 times since 1996. However, it'll be a long 4 years since we last moved when we move this time. Moving cross town. About 60 miles or so. DH already works over there and we are finally gone move the residence closer to work.
In the interest of teaching an old dog new tricks, I'd really like to hear all about moving and what really works to make the whole thing easier. Especially with things like food. In the past, this has been a big issue and we've eaten out or gotten take out and I'm hoping to avoid that.
Btw, the house isn't on the market yet. Planning to list in the spring. Hoping to move right after school years ends if closing can be then. So I've got plenty of time to prepare.
