How to manage plans for multiple families on Disney Magical Experience

I just made a room only reservation for my family in October. My Sister also made one for her family and wants me to handle all the plans. I connected with her on the Disney experience, but when I go to my profile it says plans managed by me and lists my kids. Then it shows my sisters name and all her kids but it says plans managed by her. How do I get it so I managed all the plans for everyone?

Go into your sister's MDE (or have her go in). Under family and friend, select the appropriate profile, click on "Update". She can then give you permission to manage all their plans.

It may still say "Plans managed by sister" but you will be able to veiw plans, make fast passes, dining reservations, etc.

I am the only one in my family who has and MDE account. we have 2 rooms/tickets/meal planned booked for me and my daughter's family.

I want to set up and account for her so her credit card can be added for on line check in and so she can mobile order.

Do I just set up her account (she will install the app before we travel) link her reservations (split stay) and we/I will be all set? I already have the 3 in her room in my MDE and I manage everything.

won't make FP+ for a couple of weeks and don't want to mess that up.

can't remember how I did on line check in for her last trip and there was no need for her to have the app as there was no mobile ordering, she just used their MBs for food and charging back to the room.

Creating a new MDE for your daughter and letting her use mobile ordering will be easy.

I have never ordered a package, so I'm not sure if you can use a different credit card during the online check in. However, I'm sure that's something that can be added after you check in.

If the profiles are already built on your MDE, and the package is already in your name, I wouldn't mess with it and I would let the front desk split the charges at the end of your stay.

I have never ordered a package, so I'm not sure if you can use a different credit card during the online check in. However, I'm sure that's something that can be added after you check in.

She is the lead name on her room, 2 reservations, split stay. I have the reservation numbers from our TA.
I have a separate room, 2 reservations under my name for the split stay.

I actually just had a very similar issue. I booked rooms and tickets for eveyone on my account, but it wouldn't let me do online checkin for my family members because I was not named person on their room, even though I booked and paid for it through my MDE account. Here's what I was told to do: make a new MDE account for her, then call and have them move her family's hotel stay, tickets, and magic bands to the new account, and then link the accounts with planning privileges. All I had to do was make the new account, they took care of the rest.

Of course! As long as you are all friends, you can manage their ADRs and FPs. They will also be able to edit on their MDE.

As long as they're connected as Friends and Family for FPs. For the ADRs only the lead person needs to be named, you could literally make the reservation for yourself and 8 blank people.

I didn't try it but this morning in MDE (website not app) I see an option to do on line check in for the 2 ressies in my daughters name. had not seen that before since I started looking for it.
