I have searched high and low and cannot find an answer...we were on the Dream this past May and I absolutely loved the scrambled eggs at Cabanas, they were so yummy and tasted different from normal scrambled eggs, does anyone know how to make them?

I believe that they ships use pre-packaged scrambled egg mix that comes in a 30 pound bag and is cooked in the bag in boiling water for about an hour. You should be able to find similar bagged egg products in smaller sizes at warehouse stores and some groceries.

We are SOOO in agreement! We went to Cabanas the first day, and they were so buttery or creamy or something, we had to get seconds. The next day, we went to the MDR for breafkast, and the scrambled eggs were hard and not as good. The final morning, we still went to our assigned MDR breakfast as a family...but we ran up to Cabanas first and got some scrambled eggs to bring with us! The CMs outside of the Royal Palace were quite stunned as they did not expect us to like the buffet eggs better.

Oooh yeah. Them puppies were GREAT. Hope the Magic are just as good in May! Also given the fact that they had real potates (and not square hashbrowns) maybe we will skip the breakfast in MDR on most days... we still like the last day though possibly... (although we will likely being going to WDW that debarkation day cuz its a Friday and who wants to go home on a Friday? So maybe we will hit the buffet and get on the way quicker...)

:yay: for yummy buffet!

Thanks! I will have to look for powdered eggs or bagged and see how the turn out. I added cream cheese to regular eggs and it came close to Cabanas eggs, but not as yummy.

They may also start with liquid pastuerized eggs. It comes in cartons that look like milk or cream cartons and can be found in dairy departments of grocery stores.

We did not like them... too 'wet' for us. Maybe instead of cream cheese it could be some kind of creamer and/or butter? :scratchin

Yeah, I agree...but if you scrape them off the top, they're fine, you just have to avoid the bottom of the pan.

Me, I prefer the fried eggs, 2 over each hashbrown patty. :D
