How to make the best with our 1st day...

What advice or input would you give us.... we will be getting to DL on Tuesday and being able to get to the park hopefully around noon... What should we do first?? We have a 3.5 year old daughter and I am sure will be excited and overwhelmed. What should we do?

If it was me, I'd would stroll into DL. Take pics, walk down Main St. Grab a FP at Buzz (next to the HUB). Ride the Jungle Cruise, (Maybe Pirates), climb the Tree. (Maybe Grab another FP) Then go over to DCA (for Flicks area or Monsters/Crush/Muppets).

I would avoid FL that afternoon. (Better to do it first thing Wed. morning or during EE on Thurs.) See the EE threads...same itineray either day.

I agree on just taking it easy and absorbing the sights and sounds. Maybe try to meet a character and take in a show (or at least go check out the Princess Faire). Save all the rides for the next day after you get a feel for the place.

I agree with the above posters... we arrived on a Wed, and were in the park at 11, but HAD to do Dumbo for our 3.5 yo dd's 1st ride... so we did that first, then the carousel (it was right there with no line), then ate lunch and looked at a few things before going back to DLH for a nap (we got our room at arrival at 10 am.), then we had a fun night with just a couple more rides and the parade before crashing... it was a long 1st day, since we had to be up at 4 am.

I'd take it easy with the rides, some may scare her so don't start at ones that could make it hard to get her on anything else the rest of the trip. I love buzz but if she is at all afraid of dark or noise I'd work up to that. Try it's a small world or dumbo first and she how she likes them.

Can you believe it is almost time to leave? I have to get packed.....

I know I cant believe that Tuesday is ALMOST here!!!!! I have Bailey all packed and now I will get myself and DH packed as I get laundry done this weekend.. I think we will take her on Dumbo and Tea Cups everytime see pictures of those she gets excited...

I wish I had one of us acked, works been nuts, now my sister decides I gto host her daughters family b-day party sunday, so now I have to clean the hosue.
Oh well, I will get the laundry done and the house cleaned and packed at some point. I am just so excited, one more easy work day and off we go.....
