? how to make copy of short dvd

I have a 5 min. DVD of my dd's Kindergarten class that the teacher gave me last year.

How do I copy it onto my hard drive and then copy onto a blank DVD CD?

I have windows XP. On the side it says DVD multi recorder & also DVD-rewritable. So assume it is possible.

Would appreciate any help you knowledgeable Disers have. Thanks.

You'll need some software to make the transfer. I use Nero. http://nero.com
