How to make birthday special

My DD will be turning 11 while we are at DLR. What would you recommend to make it a super special day? Of course we'll get her a b-day button so she gets lots of attention but what else would you suggest. She doesn't really like cake so I don't plan on ordering one. And I don't think she would be into one of those dress up places. She's not very girly. She does, however, love the characters, especially Stitch. And she loves pin trading. Is there a way to get our hotel room decorated? We are staying at a Good Neighbor hotel (BWPPI) for the first 5 days and then at PP for 3 days. Any suggestions?!? Thanks!

There are a few stores in the anaheim area that make balloon bouquets. I plan on staying at the BWPPI as well and will be ordering a princess balloon bouquet for my DD3's bday. Also, if you contact vacation planning they will deliver gift baskets to your good neighbor hotel. You can ask for certain items to be included in the basket (like pins). Maybe a character meal? I hear that Goofy's is great and I recommend Ariel's Princess Celebration for breakfast or lunch if your DD is into princesses..it was great fun and good food!

You could see Stitch at the Paradise Pier character breakfast.

I emailed vacation planning and informed them of my DD's birthday last time and told them of her favorite characters at the time and they had some signed photos of those characters and a birthday pin for her at check in.

Great suggestions! How do I contact Vacation Planning? Is there a phone number or e-mail?

I didn't think to contact local florists for a balloon bouquet. That's a good idea.

We will be doing Goofy's kitchen the day before her birthday and she's not into princesses. But I forgot that Stitch was still at PP. That's another good idea.
