How to make a video?

How do I make a video of my computer screen
I was wanting to make a video of some things on vmk and i don't know how to
Anybody know how?
I want to keep it free to make one too

what do u use aengus? I'd like to make something with the stuff you use, because it get's everything so clearly.

I use camtasia studio. Its not cheap @_@ which is why i recommended the winmedia one. But yes, it does a great job.
