How to make a reservation when I'm not sure who will come along?

Just in case there is a miracle and the 2020 Alaska cruises come out during my next cruise what is the best way to make a reservation? I'm not sure how many people will be going, but at least my youngest daughter and I. One other person might come with us but it could be my: older daughter, spouse, or sister. Do I just make the reservation for three and then change the name or even drop that person later?

Yes. It's best to make a reservation with at least the biggest number of guests you think may be coming.

It can happen, if you book for only 2, and want to add a 3rd person later, that all the space onboard will be filled. Especially those cruises that sell very well.

You can get your money back on anyone you cancel out as long as you do so prior to the paid in full date. Except if you've booked Concierge.
