How to make a Disney Countdown calendar?

For the past 4 years, I've always used the Mickey Heads from Home Depot to make our Countdown calendar, but now they no longer carry them!!! I don't have a Cricut machine to make my own, so now I'm not sure how to make our calendar?!? What have some of you done in the past? Would love to find and see some cute/new creative ideas for one! I'm kind of stuck!!
