how to know if reservation is legit

I input the confirmation number on my disney expierence and it my reservation shows up there. This means is it a for real reservation right? I know this is a silly question, but I went through a travel agent and I feel like if I dind't book it, it's not real!! My OCD!

If My Disney Experience is showing your reservation number as being valid in their system, then I can't imagine there's a problem.

You're good. I rented DVC points last year and once I got the reservation number everything was good.
