Dont know if this is in the right place or not but I am so excited it is killing me not to say anything to my 4yo(on the 17th) twin DD's about going for their birthday. I took them to the Disney Store to pick out a tank top to wear for their "surprise" and they have gotten some spending money for their surprise too. How should I tell them? Should I wait until that morning? Should I tell them the night before? I know I will hardley sleep as it is that night so who knows if they will either. I bought them some birthday presents especially for WDW, Princess baseball caps, new sunglasses, and am planning on getting a few other disney related things too that I havent given them yet. Any ideas? Should I wait until the morning(their birthday) of the trip to give them their WDW items or what? the wait is Killing me! lol!!! TIA!

I kept it a surprise for 24 hours, then BLURTED IT OUT to my DS who was shocked!:lmao:

You may be able to order a phone call from Mickey the day of or night before...if you can wait until the day of you sure would surprise them, huh!---I say load them into the car--you could dress up the car and act as if it is a princess carriage---or maybe if going to the airport, get a special limo or if a friend is driving you to the airport, you could have that friend come to the door ready escort/whisk away the princesses!!

Re: Getting the Disney and Dis princess stuff---GREAT! Also, I usually buy light sticks and $1 Disney stuff...that I give my DS every day in the hotel room as a surprise from Mickey---means less "I want, I want..." at the parks. Keep us posted! :thumbsup2

Did you know about birthdays at Disney? You can ask for bday buttons and you can celebrate their bdays the ENTIRE trip this way and you may even get extra attention from the CM's when they see those buttons!!

Yes, we will be getting the buttons when we get in the gate. We are just going for the day since we live an hr away... Plus we are going back in December for a week too which they dont know yet either since it is so far away. Right now both of them are sick so lets hope they get better before next friday!

In case you decide to use this option, here is the link to Disney Enchanted Calls. My boyfriend's family got Mickey to call his niece on her birthday last year, it was so cute! You may want to get a test call while they're out of the house, I think you may need to press a certain button after you pick up to activate the call. That way you could time it so when you pick up, you say something into the phone such as, "Oh, (names here)? They're right here!" and put them on, or whatever you choose.

Maybe you could make them some cards with their favorite princess(es) or other characters "inviting" them to come visit? I saw a post on here once where a mother made one of these cards with Cinderella on it inviting her DD to breakfast at the castle.

If I think of anything else, I'll be sure to post. Good luck, and have a wonderful time!! :woohoo:
