How to keep family together on Southwest?!

What will you do if you can't get them all seated by an adult? I get not wanting to spend the money. But what is your back up plan?
I don’t have one. But with 4 adults and 3 kids each one has a chance to sit near an adult. Plus my mom is in a wheel chair so maybe I’ll have my anxiety child go with her? At least that’s what I’ve read and that’s what my dad was told by Southwest.
Who know I might get nervous and pay the extra money but at this point I haven’t yet so that’s my plan.

I know my daughter will be fine if she has to sit alone.

I hope your best works for you - you need to prepare your kids that they might not sit by an adult if plane is full or your boarding position not good. While I am not implying or saying you stated you’d do this - it is not fair to expect or ask others who are proactive and pay for EBCI to move for you. Flights to MCO are full of families. The airlines can’t make people move for others and there is nothing saying children can’t be separated from parents. Kids are wonderful but don’t make people entitled.

Good luck and have a great trip
I would never ask someone to move for me or my child that’s just rude. Why would anyone do that? If it doesn’t work out then fine we’ve already talked to them about it and will continue to talk about it. Up until we get on the plane. My anxious son needs to know every possible situation and what could happen to get him through.

People do that (move for a family to sit together) because they are nice and able to put themselves in someone else's shoes. I've done it, even when traveling with and sitting by DH. It's not always the family's fault they are the last on the plane, sometimes their connecting flight was late. I don't pay for EBCI because it doesn't matter to me.
