Well, I think I will take the plunge and join Connections, hopefully we will be able to use enough to save the annual fee. Can anyone tell me if there are any discounts or specials available for joining and where is the best place? The website? Thanks.

The best incentive available is to join through www.Mypoints.com then go to the "try it" link (or something like that), I think on the last page is the Connections link (or at least it was). Mypoints gives points & you also get a 25.00 gift card & a 79.00 yearly rate...

Or as many of us here on the dis have done, join thru www.blink.com if you go to the rewards board, there are a lot of posts and info on this kind of stuff.

I think if you join through Blink, the yearly cost rises to 129.00... so if you're interested in keeping the program it's better to go through Mypoints...

wow, $129 is pretty high. I don't think it's worth that much. We just did the 30 day $1 trial, but it's not bad for $79.

There are lots of ways to make it worth it. My mom used it for Toy r us GCs (max of 15 $25 cards/year, savings of $75), Barnes & Noble (same), Disney meal vouchers & movie tickets. She bought us Disney meal certs as well, and different movie tickets. They also have sam goody/suncoast GCs, which are good gifts for people who buy music or movies. Blockbuster movie rentals are also good gifts when you haven't a clue what someone needs!

She signed up through MyPoints.
