I ma having adjoining rooms and know people have said to use bungee rope to keep them open. Any other ideas how - what if I bring a door stopper (the triangualr things). I am just not sure how bungee cord would work. ANy other suggestions.

I think I have read on here that the stateroom attendant can sometimes get a door stop or fix the doors so that they remain open.

If you mean wide open I dunno, but we just left the locks in the locked position after we opened the doors so we could go back and forth with ease.

I used 2 door stoppers (triangular ones), and they worked well for us. Don't forget...there are 2 doors :)

We just extended the deadbolts on both connecting doors so that the deadbolts rested against the doorframe on each side. The doors are self shutting, so that meant the doors were normally shut (though not all the way into the door frame) unless someone wanted to go through. Nobody from either side was locked out. To go though, it was a simple matter of opening both doors.

In our case, our kids are older (tween and teen). I could see that if you have young children, the way we did it would not be good.

When you prop the doors open...dose it block anything??? or are the doors in the way when they are proped??

The doors were not in the way when we propped them open. It was really nice to be able to move freely from room to room! You're going to have a wonderful cruise!

Thanks for all the help. I will add door stoppers to the list.
