How to hang up Epcot China umbrellas/parasols

Hi - Hoping someone has suggestion how to hang up my DD's umbrella from Epcot China. We just repainted her room and wanted to hang it down from the ceiling open so that you can see the pretty painting on it and her name in Chinese but don't have a clue how to suspend it. Anyone done this?

Hang it in a corner with the handle going into the corner. You can use loops of fishing line around the handle and in 3 different places on the mantle of the parasol, one at the highest point and then 2 further down on the other sides for stability, use hooks in the ceiling to hold the fishing line.
