How to get to Whitewater snacks?

Everything I'm reading says you can't walk through the Grand anymore...how do we get to Whitewater snacks if we can't go through the DTD entrance and walk through the hotel?

You can enter GCH from DTD. You just can't exit there without some sort of receipt.

Actually you just can't go into the hotel via the main entrance on the street.

You also can't enter DCA in the morning hours unless you are a GCH guest.


All other entrances and exits are allowed including from/to DTD, and including exiting the hotel from the main entrance.

Everything you are reading is not correct.

ONLY new restriction for non hotel guests is that you can not enter the Grand from the FRONT door of the GCH from the street. All other non hotel guest access is unchanged.

As noted the DCA entrance from GCH is restricted to Hotel Guests only before 11am, but that is nothing new. After 11am it is open to all.

You can enter GCH from DTD. You just can't exit there without some sort of receipt.

You can still freely go in and out of the DTD entrance at any time. Zero restrictions on who can use that entrance/exit...same as always...no receipt or room key needed. They just added a security checkpoint

At the DCA entrance before 11am however you will need to show a receipt or GCH room key as noted by others. There were a few reports before the security changes that even a WWS receipt would not get you gate access before 11am, but have not heard if that is the case or not still post security changes.
