how to get to universal without a car.

Anyone know if you book Mears do you have to use the return leg of the journey on the same day? Im going to universal for 3 days from Pop Century and staying up there.

Can you tell me more about Mears please as we are not hiring a car we were told the trolly bus on international drive was best to get to most parks.

we have used Mears shuttle a few times now as we tend not to hire a car. Service is generally good

We have used Mears in the past - no problem with them at all

We had that driver from mears, he was funny and we did tip him

Eve and I (Eve in a pushchair, way back when she was 3) have walked from the I Ride stop, by Wet and Wild, to Universal - across the bridge

It takes about 15 / 20 mins, and I've had some horrified responses from American citizens but have always, personally, felt safe

Always got a taxi for the ride home (bottom of I Drive, by Sea World, at the time)

We used the lynx buses several times on our last trip .

We used them to go from : -
DTD to Florida Mall
DTD to I Drive
DTD just to the Crossroad shopping centre

We found them to be quite reliable and purchased a 7 day ticket which worked out very reasonable. Their website - www.golynx.com - has the different routes and timetables plus a trip planner .

From DTD to Seaworld its bus number 50.
From Seaworld to I Drive its bus number 8.
From I Drive to Florida Mall its bus number 42.
check the website for the bus to Universal....looks like number 43

PS laughed when you said you used it to Crossroads as last time we went to Disney I got completely ridiculed for suggesting getting a bus to Crossroads but half way there it poured down and no one was laughing at me then lol. Definately going to use this option if the weather is bad.
