I see that the Budget car rental facility is 3.9 miles from the Disney Cruise terminal. We have a car rented for when we get back.

How can I get from the Cruise terminal to Budget? Do they have Ubers there?

I believe Uber can access the terminal, don't know for sure, however. All the rental car agencies have shuttles that run from the terminal to the rental car location.

There are shuttle services. Keep in mind they are multi-carrier (more than one rental car company shares the shuttle in some cases) and they pick up at multiple terminals depending on how many ships are in port that morning. If time is of the essence, I'd suggest scheduling Uber.

Are you talking about Port Canaveral? We used Budget. They had 4 shuttle buses of various sizes running continuously back and forth from the port to the Rental agency and back again. There is a separate line for the shuttles for each rental car company. There is a bit of a line, so if you are in a rush Uber may be faster, but the shuttle will definitely get you there, no problem.

We have used the shuttles multiple times from Port Canaveral for various car rental companies and never had a problem. They know when the ships dock and are there waiting for you. Very clearly signed - you will know exactly where to go. Easy peasy.

We rent from Budget all the time. They do have a shuttle that runs between the port and their facility. We have found that it is much quicker and easier for all of us to just get a cab. There is a cab stand just outside the terminal gate with a person directing you to the next cab. On our last cruise in May, we paid around $15 for four of us with all of our luggage to get to Budget. If you take a cab, you also can beat the shuttle and avoid the long line that occurs when the shuttle drops off its passengers.

I recommend the the uber or taxi option. We've rented from Budget on a previous cruise and swore we'd never do it again. Dropping the car off was a nightmare (4 ships were in port and it was a mad house trying to grab a shuttle TO the port and then coming back they tried to rent us a 15-passenger van because none of the mini-vans had been returned yet). So, if you're going to do it in PC, I'd recommend uber/taxi and avoid the long line. Last cruise we took the DCL transport to the airport and rented from there. We didn't mind it was a little out of the way...at least they had cars available.
