We're staying at the BLT and not renting a car. We have two toddlers, so we'll have their car seats from the flight. They fly in car seats, even if we won't have a car when we get where we're going. We're taking the Magical Express from the airport and didn't really plan on leaving Disney property during our trip. However, I found out Sea World is free to military so we might go.

So far, I have thought of these options...am I missing anything?

1. take a taxi, use the car seats in the taxi...then do what with the car seats at the park?

2. rent a car for the day, can we rent from DTD?

You can just take the bus, departing from the Trasnsportation & Ticket Center. About $2 per person, route #50, departing every 30 minutes at :03 and :33 minutes after the hour. Get off in front of the Sea World parking lot; Last bus back to WDW at 11:10 p.m.

We've taken the Lynx bus from the TTC before. Works very well. Be sure to tell the driver you want to get off at SW though. When you're done at SW, just retrace your steps out across the parking lot, acrosst the street (not a big deal) and turn left towards the bus stop sign..has a big blue paw print on it.
Or, if you're not comfortable doing that, hire a car service. It should run about $70, r/t. You can ask for two car seats..you should be able to fit in a regular towncar...car seats and mom in back, dad in front.
