We are not renting a car on our next trip, is there a shuttle or taxi service available for a grocery run? Will front desk help? :flower1:

Front desk can get you a cab . But I don't think there is a shuttle to take.

Take the Disney shuttle bus to the Village and then you can walk to Goodings Super Market which is at the end of the Hotel Strip.

thanks!! We might end up renting a car! My parents have decided to join us!!

Eeek, Goodings...expensive! If you get off Osceola Parkway from 417, go to Publix at the corner of I-Drive South and 192 (near Gaylord Palms). Real-people prices. Goodings is outrageous (this is why it never survived in Celebration, believe it or not) and things were not fresh. There's another Publix near the Premium Outlet Mall, nearer to resorts around the Route 535 area, such as Saratoga Springs. Depending on the resort in which you are staying, either will be handy and much more reasonably priced, and I suspect the quality of food is better, with more selection. Yet another Publix on Sand Lake Road. I hope this helps.

The money you will save between the prices of Goodings and Publix will probably pay for your cabfare! The Magical Express should just stop at Publix prior to checking people into their respective resorts! LOL

A one day car rental from the Disney Car Center costs about $20 and that may be something to think about. We are using that option on some upcoming visits. We're renting a car Sat to Sunday (watch the times though) it will take care of the grocery run and church!

Bobbi :thumbsup2
