How to get to Peter Pan's Flight at RD...avoiding SDMT and A&E rush

We have a CP 8:05 ADR and plan to try Peter Pan first. (9am rope drop day) Where should we line up to avoid the RD "mob" gathered for SDMT and A&E?

Line up at Liberty Square bridge. The mob will go right towards the castle. You will want to go straight past Hall of Presidents and then past Haunted Mansion and Small World. It is a little bit longer, but you don't have to fight the mob, and I've found it to be quicker than fighting the crowds.

Did this work? I'm thinking of trying to get Peter Pan at rope drop and forgo our afternoon FP if possible.

If you want to RD Peter Pan, just let the mob surge ahead of you. Most of them will turn toward the Tea Party (right of the castle). If you go straight through the castle you'll have very few problems.

IMO, the RD mob scene is a little overblown, as long as you're not racing for 7DMT or A&E. Let the nutters go on ahead and you'll be fine!

We RD'd PP two weeks ago - rode twice in 10 minutes then on to Thunder Mtn 4 times in 40 min... very productive first hour! Have fun with it!

If you're not doing A&E or 7DMT, there is absolutely no need to rush! 90% of the rope drop crowd is heading to one of those two.
Stay center court and enjoy the opening show, then stroll over to the park side of the left tunnel and watch the characters from the show come down the ramp and wave to you and the kiddos....
Then head over to Peter Pan - or Space Mountain, Or Big Thunder, or Splash... you'll be walking on or waiting 3 minutes for the first hour.

We did RD last Monday 11/3 and had a similar strategy - hit PP, IASW, and Carousel before our 10am breakfast reservations. We cut through Liberty Square, stopped for a bathroom break in Rapunzel section, and even walking leisurely had a walk-on experience with all three rides.

Agree with others. We're there sat and sun. Entered right at 9 and hit big thunder 3 times by 9:30. Everything is slow except A&E and 7DMT. Let the crazies run and then chill out walk to your desired location.
